“My brother and I literally researched all the hunting blinds we could find. We went a looked at a bunch at hunting and sports shows. Last year we purchased the 280 acres next to our 120 acres. Now our hunting group has grown to include our wives, sons and daughters. We came to your Showroom and looked at your Blinds and then the manufacturing process and saw how they are made. We purchased three Blinds from you the first year and had you come out and install them. Then we purchased three more last year and had you install them at 12 feet instead of 10 feet. This year, we plan on having you build us two more Blinds that will be 10 feet and then one big custom Blind that will be 6x10 but will only be 6 feet from the ground. With our season just around the corner I see a lot of prefabricated stands that are made of plastic and thin steel construction and they are asking for sometimes more than what your Blinds are priced at. When the set-up day came, you guys were totally prepared and had everything you needed to get the job done. You guys have this down to a smooth operation. All three Blinds were done by 3:00 and they were perfect. My wife shot an 8 pointer opening morning from her Blind and our grandson shot his 8 pointer the next day. I took a little more time and finally shot a doe on the last day of the season. We really appreciate all of your work and love the Blinds”

“I purchased a couple of Blinds from you a few years ago. I must admit that I thought they were pretty expensive. So, last year I bought some pre-fab plastic units from a big box retailer that were less expensive and set them up ourselves in a couple of good spots. I wished we had just purchased from Harvey Allen again instead. The pre-fab units were noisy, had less room inside, they are not as solid as your Blinds, they are much harder to get into and out of and the windows are pretty small. We are going to sell them this summer and get a couple of Blinds from you to replace them”.

“My hunting buddies made a lot of fun at my expense for purchasing a Harvey Allen Blind. Things like, that’s not hunting and if you can’t take the weather then maybe you should bowl instead. Well, I got the last laugh. Opening weekend the wind was blowing 30 mph. All of my buddies went home Sunday morning because of the conditions. Then it snowed 16” on Monday and the temperature dropped to 5 degrees the second weekend. Only two of my buddies showed up and they stayed in the camper most of the time. I not only hunted everyday “All-Day” but I shot my first 11 point buck ever. I wouldn’t have been in the woods to shoot him if I wasn’t in my Blind.”

“We loved the two Blinds that we got from you last season. I brought my 12 year old grandson with me this year on opening morning. It was a very cold morning and the wind was blowing pretty good. The best thing ever was to be with my grandson inside the Blind and we were both totally comfortable. We ate lunch around 11:00 am and right after we got done my grandson saw a deer moving in the woods and opened the window and got ready. It was a nice 10 point buck coming in to sniff the mock scrape and drip bag that you recommended we put out. He got the buck with one shot.
